As a family run company, Centenary Financial Group has a combined experience of over 50 years in accounting, finance, taxation and superannuation. With Peter Smith as Director, Centenary Financial Group is a business services company capable of supplying the full spectrum of services for small to medium enterprises and businesses to operate throughout its entire lifespan as a company. Peter Smith
Director – Centenary Accounting
Peter has been a chartered accountant in public practice for thirty years.
Trained by the top Australian accounting firms, for the first fifteen years he worked with listed public companies auditing throughout Australia. This work crossed a number of industry boundaries and enabled Peter to gain competencies working with people, strategies and systems across a diverse range of businesses.
In the late Eighties Peter switched his attention to small to medium enterprises and has owned three accounting practices around Brisbane and Ipswich with a focus on planning excellent outcomes in the field of Computer Accounting and Tax Effective solutions for high net worth clients. He has extensive experience planning business structures, superannuation and retirement profiles and adding value to clients' wealth creation goals and aspirations.
In that time he has also had a high community involvement with Not for Profit Organisations. Notwithstanding auditing such organisations, he was a member of Rotary for 15 years serving as Office Bearer on District Committee, Past President of his club and Team Leader for International Exchange with Overseas Districts of Youth and Business leaders.
He now leads Centenary Financial Group as Director with son Chris Smith and in partnership with his Co-Directors is using his extensive experience and skills on a daily basis to assist small to medium enterprises grow to their full potential.

Alan Rowe
Director – SED Centenary 
Alan has been self-employed for over 30 years and has a wealth of experience, in establishing new ventures as well as re-modelling existing companies. With this experience Alan offers a wealth of experience in most aspects of an enterprise including Financial and Marketing strategies as well as developing business strategies and planning for success. Alan has worked with Professionals, Retailers and the Services industries and has owned a business in each of these areas.
Alan’s experience includes Insurance and as an Insurance Broker commenced his first practice in 1980. Since then Alan has worked in Marketing as the Co-Director for BNI Australia. BNI International is now recognised as the specialist in Network Marketing internationally.
